BATTERY INSTALLATION
The Battery Compartment is located on the base of the IMSMAAT Breathanalyser.
Place your thumb on the 3 lines located inside the oval shaped depression
in the cover, and slide the cover away from the unit. Place 2 "AAA"
size alkaline batteries (good quality, preferably heavy duty),
ensuring that you follow the polarity printed inside the compartment (+
and -). Replace the battery compartment cover.
Replace the batteries if:
a) either the coloured lights for the Breath Analysis or the Flashlight
become dim.
b) during a Breath Analysis, the Red and Yellow Lights continuously flash,
or the green light fails to stabilise.
KEYRING
An easy to use chromed keyring is attached to the base of the IMSMAAT.
Simply slide your keys through the ring, to ensure that the IMSMAAT always
travels with your keys (and therefore with you!).
SPECIFICATIONS
The IMSMAAT is very light, and with batteries excluded its weight is approximately
that of 2 plastic pocket pens. It is also very small in size, slightly
bigger than a cigarette lighter. In addition, its many features can also
be used for alternative applications, such as using the timer to remind
you of time elapsed during a tight deadline (work, picking up people,
etc.), using the flashlight in the place of a torch, or using the keyring
as the place for all your general keys (car, house, boat, etc.). Aside
from these features, the IMSMAAT, with its sleek modern design and attractive
features, makes an interesting accessory for anyone desiring an out-of-the-ordinary
addition to their personal belongings, a certain talking point with friends
and family.
Using the Analyser beyond the environmental specifications will affect
its accuracy and reliability. This unit uses a sensitive alcohol chemical sensor, therefore
treat it with CARE. For information on servicing and calibrating
